It is very difficult to drive in rough weather conditions. Especially in winters, when you drive in foggy weather it becomes very difficult to see clearly anything even for a few distances. It is very dangerous to drive in these conditions as due to limited visibility you may meet with some accident. As a matter of fact, maximum numbers of accidents happen during winter season and it may cause any harm to your life. For this purpose fog lights are used in cars to increase your visibility during foggy conditions. Nowadays, almost all car companies are installing these lights at the time of manufacturing of the car.
Normally persons don’t use fog lights as they are unable to understand its benefits. These lights due to their longer wavelength than ordinary light may penetrate the fog very easily. It enables you to have a broader and clear visibility amidst foggy conditions and help you in driving safely. On the contrary, headlights have comparatively shorter wavelength than these lights. That’s why they are not able to give a clear visibility during foggy conditions. These lights penetrate fog by throwing an acute red or yellow beam which may penetrate the fog very easily. It helps drivers to drive easily and safely in these bad conditions.
